See listing of 2024-25 National Champion CSC Members

Since 2016, College Sports Communicators has honored athletics communications professionals of national championship teams through its National Champion Communicators program. The program recognizes athletics communicators and creatives whose teams win national championships across all collegiate divisions including NCAA Divisions I, II and III; NAIA; U Sports and CCAA (Canada); and Two-Year College (NJCAA, 3C2A, NWAC) national champions.

When a college wins national championships, the team's student-athletes and coaches rightly receive the glory and recognition that comes along with it. Those involved have invested lots of time and effort to see their goals come to life.

But, there are many behind the scenes who also have devoted themselves to seasons that often last up to a month or more beyond the regular season. Among those are the school's athletics communications professionals.

CSC provides a championship certificate that can be personalized for as many communicators and creatives as appropriate at the winning institution. In addition, those who submit a photo may be featured on CSC social media.

The program was implemented by Associate Executive Director Will Roleson.

"CSC appreciates the long hours and efforts that all athletics communicators and creatives put into the programs and teams they promote," he said. "And, teams that win national championships have seasons that last multiple weeks beyond the norm with expanded communications needs. We want to recognize these valuable staff members in a small way above and beyond the thank-yous and championship rings they may receive from their institutions."
