The 2010-11 Capital One Academic All-District® Men’s and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performance on the floor and in the classroom.

The Academic All-District teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The University Division team includes NCAA Division I participants, while the College Division team combines NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, Canadian and two-year schools.

First-team Academic All-District ® honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.

FOR CoSIDA MEMBERS WITH FIRST TEAM All-DISTRICT SELECTIONS- UPDATE YOUR NOMINATION INFO BY MONDAY, JUNE 6
CoSIDA members with student-athletes on the Academic All-District At-Large FIRST TEAM now should log back in to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® web site to update their nominees' statistics and supporting data for inclusion on the Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes on the Academic All-District second and third teams (if applicable) do not advance to the national ballot.

To update your nominations, log in to:
http://www.cosida.com/aa
with your CoSIDA user name and password.

If you do not have your user name and password, click the link next to "Forget your login information?" and your user name and password will be sent to the e-mail address that appears in the CoSIDA directory.

Once you have logged in, if you have a first-team all-district selection in the current program, there will be an option to "Update Statistics for a District Winner."  Click on that and you can access the statistics and data fields (the 500-character limit still applies, though).

All updates MUST BE COMPLETED by Monday, June 6 at NOON (ET).  Since we are on an extremely tight timetable, we cannot extend this deadline, as the national voting period begins next week. (The national ballot is voted upon by AAA Committee members, CoSIDA Board and other selected individuals - not the general CoSIDA membership).

Please check to make sure that your student-athlete's name, major(s) and hometown are listed correctly and that YOUR MAILINGADDRESS LISTED IS FOR OVERNIGHT SERVICES -  WE CANNOT USE P.O. BOX NUMBERS.

If incorrect information is not corrected prior to the national team announcement, your institution will be responsible for the cost of reproducing a corrected award.

Thank you for your participation in the Capital One Academic All-America® programs!
