On-Demand Webinar

Preparing for conference and postseason championships
Best practices for SIDs in assisting the media and media coordination hosts
Original Date: Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023

Watch this on-demand sesson via the CSC Attendee Hub or listen via podcast.

The discussion focuses on postseason competitions and the roles that SIDs play to providing appropriate and timely information to a host media coordinator and the media covering broadcasts – regardless of the division of competition.

What are the necessary information pieces and what is the preparation that the media and media hosts need from SIDs to ensure that there is a great broadcast and a great championship event? We see the postseasons preparation needs and role of athletic communicators through the eyes of the media and through a conference media relations host.

Checklists for SIDs are also provided; one is a general checklist to prepare for a championship and for a broadcast. The other checklist is pertinent information for small college/NCAA Division III members.
