The College Sports Communicators Executive Board has two open positions for 2024 and beyond: Third Vice-President and a College Division Representative position. Both are open to current dues-paying CSC members; the third VP is open to all applicants, regardless of division. Applications and supporting materials must be received no later than Friday, April 28, 2023 at 5 PM (ET).

Are you interested in becoming involved with your national CSC organization at the highest leadership positions?

The CSC Nominating Committee is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals who are interested in serving in a leadership role on the Executive Board of Directors for the 2023-24 academic year and beyond.

There are two positions open for 2023-24 Executive Board service. With the selection of the 2023-24 Executive Board of Directors, the multi-year phased-in governance restructure will be complete. 

The two open positions: to serve as CSC's Third Vice President in the officers rotation and to serve as an At-Large College Division Representative on the Board. College Division applicants may come from any division except Division I.

The Third VP position and the College Division Representative position are open to any current CSC member from any area of the United States or Canada. Advocate, retired, undergraduate student and honorary members are not eligible to serve in an Executive Board of Directors position. Deadline to apply is Friday, April 28, 2023.

Serving on CSC's Executive Board of Directors is a prominent leadership opportunity within the athletic communications profession. There is tremendous momentum in, and for, our organization, with our new All-In Membership, new name and brand. We are looking for members from all divisions who have passion for our profession to serve CSC and give back to the profession in a significant way.

The slate of Third VP and College Division Representative candidates will be presented to the Nominating Committee, comprised of past presidents and those whose board positions end in June 2023. They will vote on the new executive board in late May.

 
Open Executive Board position for 2023-24 and beyond
 
Any current CSC members from the USA and Canada may apply, as these two positions are not tied to a geographical area. Advocate, retired, undergraduate student and honorary members are not eligible to serve in an Executive Board of Directors position.
 
3rd Vice President - (no geographic designation)
Serves a five-year term on the board (years of being 3rd VP, 2nd VP, 1st VP, President, then Past President) with specific assignments each year. Your commitment includes two conference calls per month, additional days of meetings at the annual CSC UNITE Conventions, a potential summer meeting at the NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, a mid-year meeting at the annual NCAA Convention, and involvement as committee liaison as well as projects and special duties to be determined.

College Division Representative - (1 available; no geographical designation)
College Division and At-Large Executive Board members shall come from the membership as a whole, and must be fully qualified members of the Association. At-large members will be elected to serve a two-year term.
