2022-23 Creative & Digital Design Contest Winners Announced

The 2022-23 College Sports Communicators Creative & Digital Design Contest award winners have been announced.

The University of Oklahoma led the nation with 13 overall awards including four “Best in the Nation” awards. Kansas State University finished with 12 awards with two “Best in the Nation” awards. Brigham Young University and Kennesaw State University each had 10 overall awards with three and one “Best in the Nation” awards respectively.
 
Finishing fifth overall and leading the College Division was Washburn with nine overall awards including two “Best in the Nation” awards and a best cover. Brewton Parker College and Lenior-Rhyne each had eight awards and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University had seven adding three “Best in the Nation” awards.
 
This year, the contest was expanded adding Photos of the Year, Photography Portfolio for the Year, Photography Portfolio of the Year and Designer of the Year Portfolio. The University Division Photography Portfolio of the Year went to Nate Edwards from Brigham Young University and the College Division Portfolio of the Year went to Ryan Pricket from Fort Hays State. The University Designer Portfolio of the Year was Danielle Whaley from Villanova and the College Designer Portfolio of the Year went too Adele Gammill from Berry College.

CSC thanks committee chair Gene Cassell for his service to the committee. Gene has been a member of the committee for nearly 25 years, has served as vice chair of the committee for five years and was the chair for the past three years. As he moves on, CSC welcomes Riley Baker as the new chair of the committee for 2023-24. This contest relies on CSC member volunteers to serve on the committee as a judging coordinator.
