Early information on the
2025 College Sports Communicators #CSCUnite25 convention is now available. For those interested in attending, this year's #CSCUnite25 convention takes place June 8-11 at the Marriott World Center Resort in Orlando, Fla.
Applications were open through late January for the annual College Sports Communicators (CSC) #CSCUnite25 convention grant program, with the grants available for dues-paying CSC members who are interested in attending the June 8-11 Orlando event. There are two convention grant opportunities for athletic communicators in need of financial assistance to attend: 1. through the #CSCUNITE25 convention attendance grants; and 2. through the NCAA inclusion CSC convention grants.
- NCAA Inclusion CSC Convention Grant: Applications CLOSED Jan. 20, 2025... These grants cover convention hotel, travel and registration, and also provides a summer visit to the NCAA national office (with travel and hotel included).
- CSC Convention Attendance Grant Applications CLOSED Jan. 24, 2025 ... CSC's grant includes reimbursement of up to $1,000 in expenses related to travel, lodging and meals in addition to a complimentary convention registration. Networking opportunities at the convention and mentorship opportunities throughout the year are also available. Prior recipients of a CSC or CoSIDA convention grant are not eligible to receive a second award.
A total of 22 CSC convention grants will be distributed. Applicants will be notified in mid-February of the selections, which are voted on by a CSC leadership committee comprised of CSC Executive Board of Directors, CSC staff and several divisional leaders from CSC cabinets and committees.

he College Sports Communicators Executive Board of Directors has approved registration rates for CSCUnite25, and those registration rates are priced at Early Bird (Feb. 25-April 4), Advance (April 5-May 9) and Regular (May 10-June 11) rates.
Convention registration and hotel reservations will open on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at noon Eastern. Hotel rates at the Marriott World Center Resort and additional properties will be announced in January.

CSC Convention Attendance Grant: CLOSED
Applications were open Dec. 4, 2024 through Jan. 24, 2025
The CSC Convention Attendance Grant program recognizes the unique circumstances of the association's membership when it comes to attending a yearly convention. Annually, a total of 22 deserving members will be selected for these assistance monies, with two grants designated specifically for people of color in the profession.
CSC's grant includes reimbursement of up to $1,000 in expenses related to travel, lodging and meals in addition to a complimentary convention registration. Networking opportunities at the convention and mentorship opportunities throughout the year are also available.
PLEASE NOTE: Prior recipients of a CSC/CoSIDA convention grants are not eligible for a second convention financial grant, out of fairness to the thousands of CSC members.

NCAA Inclusion CSC Convention Grant: Applications were Dec. 2, 2024 through Jan. 20, 2025
The NCAA Inclusion CSC Convention Grant presents a professional development opportunity geared towards the inclusion, advancement and retention of ethnic minorities within the field of media relations/communications. The grant will provide attendance at the convention, mentorship and leadership opportunities during the academic year.

NCAA National Office Visit |
The NCAA and CSC will cover the cost of hotel and travel accommodations to the convention; and hotel and travel accommodations for a national office visit. Grant recipients will also receive a complimentary CSC convention registration, CSC membership and CSC mentor pairing for one year. Two applicants from each division (I, II, and III) will be selected. Athletics communicators from Division I, Division II, and Division III with five years or fewer in the industry will be chosen.

The College Sports Communicators Executive Board of Directors has approved registration rates for CSCUnite25, the association's annual convention to be held June 8-11 at the Marriott World Center Resort in Orlando, Fla.
