Dave Meyer, Miami University Assistant AD for Communications: "Being an SID is not for everyone, but it fits Jon perfectly. He is selfless, deflects attention and strives to put the student-athlete experience above everything else. I am proud to call Jon a friend and I couldn't be happier for him to be honored with this award."

Brian Wolff, Town of Bloomfield (Conn.) Community Engagement & Public Relations Coordinator, former CSC member and athletic communicator: "Jon Fuller’s dedication to the field of sports communications is matched only by his unwavering support and mentorship. His commitment to excellence over the past 25 years has not only shaped the industry but has also had a profound impact on my own professional journey. More than a colleague, Jon has been one of my closest friends, always leading with integrity, wisdom, and a great sense of humor. This recognition is a testament to his passion and the countless lives he has influenced along the way."

Joe Kepler, University of South Carolina Associate Director of Communications and Public Relations: "I will always be grateful to Jon, not just for the simple act of hiring me as an unknown college graduate, but for dedicating the four years we worked together to make me better. This job is busy enough, but he always made time for me and I’m now in my second decade of carrying his lessons with me every day. Whether you worked with him or just crossed paths, it’s clear to see why he is held in such high regard by his coaches, athletes and local media. Through his actions he taught me to be passionate, be creative and most of all, be flexible. More than 10 years after leaving his staff, I still root for Buffalo, because I am rooting for Jon Fuller. Congratulations on 25 years of service and thank you for all you do."
