2025 CSC Membership Appreciation Week
Resources & Links
We are grateful for everyone who helped #CelebrateCSC during our 10th annual CSC Membership Appreciation Week on Nov. 4–9, 2025!
It was another incredible week of recognizing and celebrating the communications and creative professionals who elevate college athletics every day. Across social media, we saw more than 2.1K posts using #CelebrateCSC, and CSC’s own channels generated over 574K impressions throughout the week.
This year’s celebration introduced new elements, including custom posters and a timed social media push. The 10th anniversary celebration also featured a special promo video that included messages from 2025 CSC Special Award recipients Holly Rowe (ESPN), Ruth Riley Hunter (Miami HEAT), and Craig Silver (CBS Sports), along with 2023 CSC Jake Wade Award recipient Debbie Antonelli (ESPN/CBS/Indiana Fever).
Throughout the week, we saw memorable moments of recognition — including a shoutout from Purdue men’s basketball All-American Braden Smith to Purdue Associate Strategic Communications Director Chris Forman, and a heartfelt message from ESPN’s Holly Rowe to CSC member Chris Brown (Arizona State).
We also featured a special “Day in the Life” video series showcasing the work of CSC members across the country. Thank you to everyone who participated: Nick Astalos (Capital University), Lindy Brown (Duke University), Cael Dent (Denison University), Pearllan Cipriano (Bard College), Amanda Gretz (Elizabethtown College), Robyn Griffin (IU Northwest), Brian Lovellette (SLIAC).
Congratulations to Alexis Green of Walsh University, the winner of the free #CSCUnite26 convention registration! Alexis was nominated by Walsh University Vice President for Athletics / Athletic Director Christina Paone, who shared a heartfelt message on LinkedIn recognizing her outstanding contributions.
We extend a sincere thank you to Mike Williams (Illinois State University), Advocacy Committee Chair, and Tommy Chasanoff (University of the Cumberlands), the Advocacy Committee’s Membership Appreciation Week lead. A special thank-you to our presenting partner, ESPN, for spotlighting CSC members during multiple broadcasts throughout the week and helping us share those moments.
As always, we were thrilled to see support pour in from athletics directors, conference offices, coaches, SAAC groups, media partners, and colleagues across athletics, all joining in to honor the vital role of communications and creative professionals. The outpouring of appreciation and community spirit is what makes this week so special every year.
And remember — while CSC Membership Appreciation Week may be over, showing appreciation and support for our fellow communicators and creatives is something we can do all year long.
Here's a look at some of the most popular content from the week:
