Convention Attire/Dress Policies
CoSIDA Convention attendees are reminded of the following attire policies in Orlando for the convention:

• Business Casual dress (no shorts, hats/caps or flip-flops for either men for women).
Example: Slacks and polo shirts for men, dress capris, skirts or pants, polo shirts or blouses for women. Tie optional for men.
USA Volleyball Sand Reception (Wednesday, June 11)
Shorts are appropriate, as event takes place around the outside Marriott World Center sand volleyball courts.
NOTE: All receptions, luncheons, dinners and panels are for registered attendees or ticketed guests only.
You must wear your registration badge to all events. NO EXCEPTIONS.

New registration rates for 2014
CoSIDA preregistration closed on May 12, 2014. On-site registration will take place beginning June 8, 2014 at the Palms Registration area at the World Center Marriott.
Tiered registration rate system: February 3-March 21, the early and lowest preregistration fee for each CoSIDA member was $215.
From March 22-May 12, the preregistration fee was $235 per CoSIDA member.
On-site registration in Orlando will be $255 per CoSIDA member.
Each amount is $30 more for non-CoSIDA members ($235 from Feb. 3-March 21; $265 between March 22-May 12; and $285 for on-site registration).
What do I get for my Convention registration?
CoSIDA registration rates include: CoSIDA Exhibit Hall Welcome/Kickoff Reception (June 8); ESPN Reception (June 8); CoSIDA Hall of Fame Luncheon (June 9); entrance/ticket to Capital One Academic All-America® Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (June 9); NBA/WNBA/D-League Party (June 9); one entrance/ticket to NACDA Exhibit Hall social (June 10); CoSIDA
Special Awards Luncheon (June 11); USA Volleyball Sand Reception (June 11); entrance to all CoSIDA-sponsored programming; and entrance to programming at the NACDA & Affiliates Convention which is designated as "open to all attendees."
PLEASE NOTE: CoSIDA's online registration portal is separate from the NACDA & Affiliates online registration. CoSIDA members need to register for the convention and reserve hotel rooms via the CoSIDA links above and not via the NACDA.com convention site.

World Center Marriott Reservations & Overflow Hotel Reservations for CoSIDA Members
Convention shuttle service schedule for overflow hotels PDF
As of May 5th: New overflow hotel (Carib Royale)
The CoSIDA and NACDA room blocks at the Marriott World Center are full, as are the Marriott Village properties. Hotel reservations can be made at an additional overflow property - the Carib Royale - http://www.cariberoyale.com/. For convention attendees, there will be a complimentary shuttle running to and from the Marriott World Center and the overflow Marriott Villages properties and the Carib Royale.
Are You on the Waiting List for World Center Marriott?
Room nights in the CoSIDA room block at the World Center Marriott are now filled. Also, the Marriott Villages overflow properties also are filled for the NACDA and CoSIDA convention. Those who have booked via https://resweb.passkey.com/go/CoSIDA2014 previous to May 5 are on a wait-list for World Center Marriott rooms and have rooms in the overflow Marriott properties. If rooms become available, you may be given the option of confirming rooms at the World Center property. On your confirmation memo from the World Center will be a link to reserve rooms at the Marriott Villages overflow hotels to ensure you have a room for the convention. If you are moved to the World Center, your Villages reservation will be automatically canceled.

Orlando International Airport Shuttle Service Discount
Mears Motor Shuttle will again offer a round-trip shuttle discount to all CoSIDA and NACDA Convention attendees this June from the Orlando International Airport to the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort. There is a $4 dollar discount off the regular round-trip prices of $36.00 per adult and $27.00 per child.

CoSIDA's Community Service Project and annual 5k Fun Run/Walk
CoSIDA will again host its annual 5K Fun Run/Walk and will partner again with the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida as its volunteer/charitable outreach project. The
CoSIDA Goodwill and Wellness Committee has provided this information for the convention's charity project, 5K fun run/walk and donations.

Convention Attendance Grant (NEW for 2014)
For the 2013-14 academic year, CoSIDA is proud to announce a new program that will provide financial assistance to those members who wish to attend the annual convention, but who are limited to do so due to financial constraints.
In an effort to support and encourage the annual convention participation of CoSIDA members, ten (10) attendance grants of $800 each will be awarded for the 2014 CoSIDA Convention. This total will go towards registration, travel and hotel accommodations. Candidates must confirm their convention attendance in advance and the selected attendees will be awarded funds after the convention on a reimbursement basis.
The grant application submission period ended on Feb. 28. Award recipients will be notified in late March.
