Summary: Breaking down silos in external relations and creating better collaboration through external facing units (communications/marketing/digital & video/development/ticketing/licensing) are key to more effective and seamless communication responses, especially in a time-constrained world. In an era when a single tweet can lead to a reputational crisis for athletic departments and their universities, understanding best practices for internal notification, escalation and coordination - both within athletic departments themselves and between the broader campus community - can mean the difference in mitigating a crisis. Join experts in athletic communications and crisis management for an interactive discussion and immersive simulation that will test your "silo busting" abilities in the middle of a rapidly escalating issue.
