2023 Hotel Rates at World Center Marriott, Marriott Village (Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, SpringHill Suites) and Caribe Royale


The Orlando World Center Marriott has undergone many renovations over the past few years, which includes new meeting space, updated sleeping rooms, and an additional waterpark!

Room blocks will be available at three different properties to provide convention attendees with the best possible rates. Members can make a reservation at any of the three properties. For budgeting purposes, the rates are listed below:

  • Orlando World Center Marriott (8701 World Center Drive) - $209 + tax/night — SOLD OUT
  • Marriott Village (Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, SpringHill Suites (8623 Vineland Ave.) - $189 + tax/night — SOLD OUT
  • Caribe Royale (8101 World Center Drive) - $205 + tax/night — SOLD OUT

A non-refundable deposit will be required when making a reservation at any of the properties where NACDA/CSC has a room block.

Attendees with a reservation of one (1) night only will be charged a non-refundable deposit of one (1) night room and tax at the time of booking. Attendees making a reservation of two (2) or more nights will be charged a non-refundable deposit of two (2) nights room and tax at the time of booking. The deposit will be forfeited with any cancellations to a hotel reservation.

Do not make a hotel reservation through any third-party company pretending to act on behalf of CSC or NACDA, which manages the reservation process internally and does not work with another booking/travel company.
 


FAQ

What will I be charged for the deposit and what is the process?

  • There is a non-refundable deposit for any reservation made. For any attendees that are making a reservation for one (1) night only, they will be charged a non-refundable deposit of one (1) night room and tax. For any attendees that are making a reservation for two (2) or more nights, they will be charged a non-refundable deposit of two (2) nights room and tax. 

  • The hotels charge the card on file within 30 days of the booking, so a reservation confirmation email will be sent after booking and a receipt for the deposit will be emailed within the 30-day window.

 

When is the non-refundable deposit due?

  • The non-refundable deposit is due at the time the reservation is being made.

  • You may use a different credit or debit card for the deposit that you use upon check-in.

 

Do I have to pay the resort fee?

  • Orlando Marriott World Center: The resort fee is automatically waived, so any attendee would need to opt-in at check-in.

  • Marriott Village: There is no resort fee included.

  • Caribe Royale: The resort fee is included in the room rate.

 

What is the cost of the resort fee at the Orlando Marriott World Center and what does it include?

  • The resort fee is $42 per day and includes the following:

  • 15% discount off retail rates for greens fee rates at Hawks Landing Golf Course. (excludes merchandise)

  • A bucket of golf balls and use of rental clubs at driving range daily for 4 guests

IF a guest wants to opt out of everything but just have access to River Falls Water Park, they can do that for $20 per day per person.

 

Is the resort fee required to access the main pool at the Orlando World Center Marriott?

  • No, all guests of the hotel can access the main pool, regardless of resort fee status. 

 

If I am staying at one of the other hotel properties, can I purchase tickets for River Falls Water Park at the Orlando Marriott World Center?

  • No, only registered guests of the World Center have access to River Falls Water Park.

 

Are there any incidental deposits?

  • Yes, a hold of $50 per night will be applied at check-in for incidentals.  Any amount unused will be released upon checkout.

 

Can I cancel or make changes to my hotel reservation?

  • Yes, you may cancel your reservation within the cancellation window for that specific property, but the deposit will be forfeited.

  • To modify a reservation, click on the Passkey link for that property and select “Manage Existing Reservation.”

 

I can no longer attend. Can I transfer my reservation to someone else?

  • Yes, a reservation can be transferred to another attendee, but once the method of payment is applied, it cannot be removed.

 

What is the age to check-into the hotel?

  • All guests checking in must be at least 18 years old and provide a photo identification card.  A credit card or debit card is required for check-in.

 

My institution requires me to pay with a Credit Card Authorization Form. How do I do that?

  • Each property will send a unique link for that reservation and a check will need to be provided 30 days prior to check-in or the card on file will be charged. Contact registration@cscommunicators.com to assist with this process.

 

What happens if a credit card gets declined?

  • The hotel will contact that attendee and let them know their card was declined for the deposit.  That attendee will be required to provide a new method of payment within 24 hours.  If they are not able to do so, the reservation will be canceled.

 

Can an attendee reserve more than one (1) room at a time?

  • No, the system is set-up to only allow one (1) room to be reserved at a time via the reservation link. Attendees are welcome to go back through the process and make additional reservations.

 

Why are CSC and NACDA continuing with the non-refundable deposit policy? 

  • Non-refundable deposits are becoming more common in the convention and events industry.  It is designed to encourage attendees to commit to coming and to also protect the organizing entity from attrition caused by unused or canceled sleeping room reservations that could trigger a financial penalty to the association.

 

Will transportation be provided between the Orlando Marriott World Center and the other convention hotels? 

  • Yes, complimentary ground transportation will be made available to all convention attendees between all hotel properties during the convention dates. Schedule TBA.

 

Will transportation be provided to and from the Orlando International Airport to the convention hotels?

  • No transportation will be provided as part of the convention.  Attendees are encouraged to use Uber, Lyft, taxi or Super Shuttle.

 

Is parking available at the hotels?

  • If you are not staying at the World Center Marriott, you may pick-up a voucher which will provide discounted parking in the Self-Parking Garage. Vouchers can be picked up at the NACDA (Grand Ballroom Registration Desk) or CSC (Palms Ballroom Registration Desk) registration desks and will provide a 50% discount from the typical self-parking rate of $29 (excluding taxes). Please note that the Self-Parking Garage does not allow for in/out privileges so the rate will be assessed each time a guest arrives or departs the hotel property.
