Click here CSC 5K Fun Run/2-Mile Walk information

WHEN: Sunday, June 9, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM (Pacific)
WHERE: On-site at the Mandalay Bay Resort
No advance sign-up needed.

The CSC Goodwill and Wellness Committee is once again partnering with Three Square Food Bank in Las Vegas to provide resources for those in need. Three Square is Southern Nevada's only food bank providing food assistance to the residents of Lincoln, Nye, Esmeralda and Clark Counties.

The community service event would allow convention attendees the opportunity to volunteer and pack kits for homeless people in Southern Nevada on-site at convention. The date and time of the service project will be announced later.

A Three Square representative will be on-site at Mandalay Bay to talk about their mission and welcome our group. Volunteers will have the opportunity to stop by the service area and assemble kits for however long they would like.

"With families and individuals finding themselves with fewer means to get by, we rely on community partnerships more than ever to provide essential resources to Southern Nevadans in need," said Brian Burton, president and CEO of Three Square Food Bank. "We are deeply grateful for the CSC Goodwill and Wellness Committee as they inspire their attendees to get involved and make a positive impact in our community."

Three Square's mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community. The food bank sources food product, raises funds and relies on volunteers to reach more than 363,000 hungry neighbors across the valley.

About
At each CSC Convention, the Goodwill and Wellness Committee organizes a community service project that benefits a charity or non-profit organization in the host city. The service project is open to any CSC and NACDA and Affiliates convention attendees to participate in.

In the beginning of this annual tradition the committee also held a donation drive during CSC Convention registration (2010-15) where they would collect donations, such as clothing and toiletries, for the local charity.
