Beau White was promoted to Director of Communication and Brand Strategy in November 2023. He leads all communication and creative efforts for the organization including strategic planning, development and execution of cross-platform content strategies for CSC’s year-round programming, the CSC Unite annual convention, and the Academic All-America® program. He assumed membership director duties for CSC in September 2024.

White joined the CSC national staff full time in February 2017 as Director of Creative Services after several years of part-time and freelance work for the organization since October 2013.

White led the organization’s rebrand from CoSIDA to College Sports Communicators in 2022 from concept through launch, and developed the All-In membership model which has led to unprecedented 53 percent growth (including 34% in year one) in membership from 3,076 members in 2021-22 to more than 4,720 in 2024-25. These major organizational shifts were designed to welcome more types of strategic and creative communicators into the organization.

White has been instrumental in conceiving and developing multiple major initiatives within the committee structure such as the 30 Under 30 award, revamping of the Creative & Digital Design Contest (125% growth over two years), administering the 2020 and 2025 membership salary surveys, and growing the Academic All-America program. He leads all promotional efforts of the Academic All-America program. In addition, White is the liaison to the Advocacy Committee, Inclusion Committee, Mentorship Committee, Membership Appreciation Week, and the Two-Year Divisional Cabinet.

White was a CSC member while serving the University of Kansas athletic department as an intern, assistant media relations director and graphic designer. He served as primary or secondary media contact for KU women's basketball, football, men's basketball, tennis, track & field and cross country at various times during his tenure. As graphic designer, White developed all in-house print and digital creative. His favorite moments included successfully nominating Lynette Woodard for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, and working with the 2007-08 Orange Bowl and National Championship football and men's basketball teams.

After KU, White worked at Sprint's corporate headquarters providing communication support to national sales teams. During this time he remained active as a statistician for a variety of schools, and by doing freelance design work for a variety of clients sports and non-sports clients.

White got his start in sports information as a student assistant at Missouri State University, where he graduated in 2001.

White continues to help local schools with their stat crew or table crew.

The native of Warrensburg, Missouri, lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife Christy. He has two sons, Grady and Colin.
