Alivia Dieterlen joined the CSC national staff as assistant director of communications and creative content in January 2024.

In her role with CSC, Dieterlen is part of the communications team responsible for collaborating on strategic planning, development and execution of a comprehensive cross-platform content strategy for CSC’s year-round programming, the CSC Unite annual convention, and the Academic All-America® program.

Dieterlen previously worked at the Horizon League from July 2022 until January 2024 as director of creative content. She led and produced the conference office’s creative content, including videos, graphics, and event signage, while helping to enhance the league’s brand awareness and assisting with marketing and social media planning and execution. Dieterlen also served on the league-wide NIL strategy group.

During her time at the Horizon League office, the conference launched a brand recharge where she implemented new designs and themes through content, created social media strategy, and provided in-depth analysis of data and analytics to measure success.

Based in Mooresville, Indiana, Dieterlen has past corporate and non-profit communications experience, assists as a gameday camera operator for the Indianapolis Colts and is a freelance photographer.

Dieterlen earned a bachelor’s degree in media from Indiana University in 2020 where she also served as associate producer - digital for WTIU PBS/IU Radio and Television Services. During her four years as a student at IU, she worked as a camera operator and directed Big Ten Student-U broadcasts for all sports. For WTIU, Dieterlen worked on social media marketing for PBS/NPR shows and also produced and acted on its children’s show.
