Membership Appreciation Week
We are grateful for everyone who helped #CelebrateCSC during our ninth annual CSC Membership Appreciation Week on Nov. 12-17! It was another fantastic week of recognizing and celebrating communications and creative pros in college athletics. We saw over 3.8k posts on social media and had over 622.2k impressions on the College Sports Communicators pages alone.
We also chose TWO winners for the free #CSCUnite25 registration contest: Congratulations to Airis Thomas of Winston-Salem State University and Paige Ward of Berry College!
CSC Unite 2025
Early information on the 2025 College Sports Communicators #CSCUnite25 convention, including registration rates, is now available. For those interested in attending, this year's #CSCUnite25 convention takes place June 8-11 at the Marriott World Center Resort in Orlando, Fla. Convention registration and hotel reservations open on February 25, 2025.
Applications are now open for the annual College Sports Communicators (CSC) #CSCUnite25 convention grant program, with the grants available for dues-paying CSC members. There are two convention grant opportunities for athletic communicators in need of financial assistance to attend: 1. through the #CSCUNITE25 convention attendance grants (deadline Jan. 24); and 2. through the NCAA inclusion CSC convention grants (deadline Jan. 20).

30 Under 30 Class of 2024
College Sports Communicators has named the recipients of its 30 Under 30 Class of 2024. The honor recognizes emerging athletics communications professionals at all levels of college sports in strategic, creative and digital spaces.
Of a record 176 nominations submitted, this year’s class includes 10 members from different levels of NCAA Division I, six Division II members, 10 Division III members, two NAIA members, one member from a Canadian institution, and one two-year college member.

CSC partners with UniUSA
College Sports Communicators and UniUSA announced a partnership that will provide CSC with two representatives on UniUSA’s board of directors. UniUSA represents the United States in and secures collegiate competitors for prestigious global sporting events, including the FISU World University Games, Championships, and FISU America Games.
CSC will be positioned alongside related sports governing bodies with UniUSA board positions, including the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

Launched on November 14, 2024, the CSC Voices, Beyond the Scoreboard podcast series brings insights and stories from College Sports Communicators members and leading colleagues in college athletics. We go "beyond the scoreboard" and hear from our members, the creative storytellers in college athletics, and special guests – many of whom have roots in athletic communications. Join us to hear in-depth discussions and insider perspectives with these behind-the-scenes interviews.
Our guests share career paths and experiences, insights on leadership, athletic culture, elevating yourself to reach your aspirations, and much, much more.
CSC wins ISAE STAR Exemplary Marketing Campaign Award for CSC Unite Content Team
During the Indiana Society of Association Executives’ (ISAE) 23rd Annual STAR Awards on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, College Sports Communicators received the Exemplary Marketing Campaign award for the Content Team coverage of the #CSCUnite24 convention. CSC Interim Executive Director Will Roleson and former Creative Content Intern Ethan Polak were in person to receive the award.
