CSC with PC: April updates from President Patrick Crawford

Spring is in the air, my fellow College Sports Communicators!

March Madness has come and gone, but all of these spring sports are surely keeping things busy and exciting, wherever you are across our membership.

But summer is coming, and our annual convention. Up until this Friday (May 1) is your last chance to get the lowest registration rate for #CSCUnite26. If you aren’t signed up now, get to it! Registration rates will increase on Saturday, May 2. Visit CollegeSportsCommunicators.com/2026convention for all the latest information of speakers, sessions and more.

Also Friday, May 1, is the general deadline for this year’s Creative and Digital Design Contest. This contest has had record participation numbers every year of its existence, so don’t miss out. In order to be recognized, you must be a 2025-26 CSC member. Your school or organization’s all-in membership makes participation easier than ever. Make a submission here.

Later in May is the 2026 CSC Virtual Business Meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, May 27. This short meeting includes the annual treasurer’s report, and the slate of officer and Executive Board members for 2026-27 and beyond will be ratified by member vote.

On Thursday, May 28, we will host the #CSCUnite26 “Know Before You Go” webinar. This session is your opportunity to ask questions about the convention to help you plan your trip. The convention mobile app will also be available in time for this session.

And one last thing about Las Vegas – make sure to sign up for the CSC 5K Fun Run and 2-Mile Walk. It’s a great event with folks from all across the NACDA universe participating. As always, this event takes place bright and early on Monday morning at the convention. Register now online or in-person on Sunday at the Mandalay Bay convention center.

That’s it for the latest CSC With PC. See you all again very soon!
