When should I arrive and leave?
For the full convention experience, it is recommended to arrive by Noon (ET) on Sunday, June 11 as programming will begin mid-day and then depart on Thursday, June 15. Educational programming will conclude late-afternoon on Wednesday, June 14.
 
Are there any flight discounts available for convention attendees?
In conjunction with CSC’s partners at NACDA, United Airlines is offering a discount on airfare to and from Orlando International Airport between June 8-15. Click here for specific details and offers.
 
Will transportation be provided to and from the Orlando International Airport to the convention hotels?
No transportation will be provided to/from the airport as part of the convention. Attendees are encouraged to use Uber, Lyft, taxi or Super Shuttle. All three convention hotels are approximately 16 miles (20-25 minutes) from Orlando International Airport.
 
What should I wear?
Casual business attire is suggested for all sessions, luncheons and social events. This would include an open-collared shirt for men and slacks or a dress for women.
 
How will I access the convention schedule?
CSC will launch a convention mobile app that will be available via the App Store and Google Play within a week or two of the convention dates. Stay tuned for more information. Click here for currently available details.
 
What meals are provided as part of my CSC badge?
The following meals and socials are included with your CSC registration:
Sunday, June 11 - All-In Welcome Reception (heavy appetizers & beverages)
Monday, June 12 - Divisional Day breakfast (continental), Grab-n-Go Luncheon in the exhibit hall (boxed lunches), All-Star Night of Honors (pre-event heavy appetizers & beverages)
Tuesday, June 13 - Academic All-America Hall of Fame Ceremony (plated luncheon), NACDA Exhibit Hall open to CSC attendees (heavy appetizers & beverages)
Wednesday, June 14 - Special Awards Ceremony (plated luncheon)
 
Can I attend NACDA and affiliates events?
All NACDA sessions are available to registered CSC attendees, except foodservice events (see NACDA exhibit hall exception below) and any others marked as closed. Likewise, NACDA registrants may attend CSC events under the same parameters. Please encourage your non-CSC colleagues to participate in our sessions.
 
When can I access the NACDA exhibit hall as a CSC attendee?
CSC attendees may enter the NACDA exhibit hall on Tuesday, June 13, from 5-8 pm, which is the second of the two days of the hall. CSC attendees do not have access to NACDA’s exhibit hall on Monday evening, June 12, or mid-day on Tuesday. Instead, everyone is encouraged to attend CSC’s All-Star Night of Honors social and awards ceremony on Monday evening and the Academic All-America Hall of Fame Ceremony for lunch on Tuesday.
 
What is Divisional Day?
One of the most popular elements of CSC UNITE is our annual Divisional Day, with programming designed by and for attendees from specific collegiate divisions. This year’s Divisional Day will be on Monday, June 12. Separate divisional programming will be available for NCAA Division, Division II, Division III, NAIA, Canadian institutions, two-year and community colleges, and conference offices. Attendees are welcome and encouraged to attend any division’s sessions that pique their interest.
 
What are the food options at the Marriott World Center?
There are a number of options for food and drink at the host hotel, including Siro Urban Italian Kitchen, Falls Pool Bar & Grill, The Lobby Lounge, Latitude & Longitude, Central Pantry, Starbucks, High Velocity and Mikado Japanese Steak House. And, new to the NACDA & Affiliates and CSC convention this year will be food trucks which will be located outside the convention center entrance near the CSC registration desk.
 
How do I access the River Falls Water Park at the Marriott World Center?
In order to enjoy the on-site water park, Marriott World Center guests must opt-in to the resort fee upon check-in ($42 per day which includes waterpark admission for up to 4 guests) or may purchase waterpark passes for $20 per day per person. Guests of other hotels do not have access to the waterpark.
 
Are there any discounts for Disney theme park tickets?
Yes, to purchase specially priced Disney Meeting/Convention Theme Park tickets, call 407-566-5600 or click here. Tickets are valid seven (7) days pre-, during, and seven (7) days post-convention dates. Please note the cut-off date for advance purchase savings is Saturday, June 10.
Please note: With the new Disney Theme Park Reservation System and park capacity limitations, it is important to lock in your visit as soon as possible. A park reservation is required for entry along with the ticket.
