Hello College Sports Communicators! Happy November from me, your 2025-26 President Patrick Crawford.
For recording and writing this month’s “CSC with PC”, I have been both in the office today at Mackey Arena and also on the road with Purdue’s football program.
All across our organization – communicators, social media managers and content creators – we know that road life. Relaying all the action, stories, videos and photos, back home to fans, family, and alumni is a big part of the job.
That is a great way to introduce the 10th annual College Sports Communicators Membership Appreciation Week, which this year runs from Tuesday, Nov. 4 – Sunday, Nov. 9.
Membership Appreciation Week is a special week for the college athletics community to celebrate you and the important work you do. It's also a week to shine a positive light on our profession and the value College Sports Communicators bring to the industry, overall. Please, share what you love about your job and shine a light on your mentors, colleagues, students and others, too.

- There are our 2026 Special Awards nominations: submit your nominations by Monday, Dec. 1, 2025. Applications will take some time to complete, so plan accordingly. Visit CSCommunicators.com/SpecialAwards.
- We have Academic All-America® Hall of Fame nominations: submit those nominations for the Class of 2026 by Monday, Nov. 17 at Midnight (ET).
- And on Monday, Nov. 10 at Noon (ET), we have a great CSC U webinar premiering – “The Team Behind the Team”: take a look at what communicators do to bring college sports to life.
