Tennis debuts as newest Academic All-America contest; nominations will be submitted via Google Forms
Beginning April 25, CSC members will have the opportunity to nominate their most outstanding men’s and women’s tennis players for the first time in a tennis-only contest.
The same academic and athletics criteria are in place for tennis nominations — a minimum grade-point average of 3.50 or above and a starter or key reserve for the team. Schools are allowed to nominate up to a maximum of four men’s tennis players and four women’s tennis players.
A difference members will notice for the tennis contest is that nominations will be accepted through a Google Form. Click here for more current details about why the nominations process for tennis will be different.
There will be additional information delivered in upcoming weekly AAA member emails as spring sports nominations get underway later this month.

CSC to conduct basketball postseason tournament involvement survey
As we all watched March Madness and other postseason basketball tournaments play out across the country, there is one thing we know for sure — postseason basketball tournaments (and all sports) are the success they are in large part because of the work of College Sports Communicators members.
This includes media coordination volunteers, statisticians, content creators, traveling team personnel and others. Watch your inbox later this month for a short survey as we try to quantify the impact our communications and creative pros made on postseason men’s and women’s basketball tournaments at all levels this year.
